The Facilities Services Division is comprised of a staff of more than 1,000 employees who are committed to providing the campus community with the finest service and best-maintained facilities, and working together as a team to provide customers easy access to high-quality services. In encouraging and ensuring professional and personal development of employees, a variety of tools and resources are made available to Facilities staff to enhance service delivery, boost confidence in performing daily tasks and help prepare for future successes.
The Facilities Services Human Resources department performs many human resource functions for the employees of the Facilities Services Division. The Facilities HR staff is split into the three major work groups of Human Resources, Safety and Training, and performs a broad scope of functions for the employees of the Facilities Services Division, including human resource/payroll management (TIM); recruitment; position classification; performance management; benefits administration; employee relations; parking coordination; records management; employee safety awareness and compliance; and staff training and development.
